This is a basic course introducing the student to working in 3D within the SketchUp computer program. This course is for beginners, and will get you started well in using SketchUp. The course is three hours of hands-on working with SketchUp.

Students need to be proficient in using a mouse and a keyboard.

The Terrain Fundamentals class covers an overview of different methods of manipulating objects, especially curves,  in 3D space using SketchUp. It introduces the student to practical applications of terrain modeling, building on the concepts from the first part of the class. You will learn several methods of creating surfaces with 3 dimensional relief and learn to combine free form terrain surfaces with hard surfaces such as stairs, retaining walls and sidewalks. The course is three hours of hands-on working with SketchUp.

This is an advanced modeling class which requires one month previous hands-on experience with modeling in SketchUp. Minimum prerequisite is the Basic SketchUp Training course. 

The class is a practical example of building a terrain model around a house using SketchUp, combining terrain with a driveway, stairs, and hard surfaces using the perimeter profile method of terrain development. The course is four hours of hands-on working with SketchUp.

This is an advanced SketchUp course. Prerequisite is the Terrain Fundamentals course.

       This is a four hour course due to complexity.

The class is a practical example of building a terrain model around a building using survey data points from which to generate the terrain. The course also covers how to deal with "cutting in" retaining walls. The course is three hours of hands-on working with SketchUp.

This is an advanced SketchUp course. Prerequisite is the Terrain Fundamentals course.
