  SketchUp Training Events in Colorado Towns

Where:
Cadman Inc will be holding SketchUp training in the following  towns in 2009:

SantaFe, NM - September 18 & 19 (Friday and Saturday)
@ Santa Fe Home Builder's Assoc, 1409 Luisa St, Ste A

Past classes from the summer were in Basalt, Glenwood, Vail, Durango, Ft Collins, Colorado Springs, Jackson Hole Wyoming, Garden City Kansas, Santa Fe and Albuquerque NM

If you don't see your town in the list, give us a call and we can schedule it for you!

What:
This special event will allow users to attend a half day of training for each class to get them up to speed in using SketchUp software efficiently. These are hands-on classes. Classes will require a minimum enrollment of 12 people to make the class feasible for travel from Denver.

You do not need to own a copy of SketchUp to attend the classes. The free public version of SketchUp is available at www.sketchup.com. You must bring a computer with SketchUp already loaded on it. All participants will actually be using the software during the entire class.

Prerequisites:
1. You should be proficient in using a computer (Windows or Mac OS) and a scroll wheel mouse.
      - saving and opening files
      - navigating to folders and files in windows or Mac
      - clicking, dragging, and moving the mouse

2. You must bring your computer with SketchUp installed (the free version is fine for the class) and a mouse with a scroll wheel. SketchUp must be loaded on your computer (download from www.sketchup.com)

Participants must be proficient in use of a mouse and computer files.

 

  Experienced User Training

NOT AVAILABLE FOR SANTA FE TRIP

Morning Session 8:30-11:30am Afternoon Session 1-4pm. Participants must be proficient in modeling projects with SketchUp.Morning and afternoon sessions are identical.

1. Working with retaining walls in terrain. (HSW)
2. Aligning a surface for proper Follow-Me.
3. Working with handicap ramps. (HSW)
4. Working quickly with roof pitches.
5. Working quickly with roof eave trim.
6. Three methods for roof overhangs.
7. Exiting path analysis and constrained area design (HSW)
8. Modeling from a photo.
9. Placing a model over a context photo.
10. Developing an existing street scape.
